At our school, our toddler care program is designed to support this beautiful stage with warmth, structure, and thoughtful guidance. We combine nurturing toddler care, meaningful early learning, and a play-based curriculum that includes age-appropriate experiences that help young children feel safe, loved, and ready to explore. 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Is Potty Training Required?
Potty training is not required for this age group. Our teachers respect each child and provide patient support as toddlers grow more independent.
Curriculum Focus
Our toddler care program is built around early childhood learning experiences that support language development, social growth, and confidence. The curriculum includes Abeka phonics, Saxon Math foundations, music, movement, storytelling, and guided play. We also introduce foreign language exposure and American Sign Language to strengthen communication, awareness, and connection during this important stage of child development.
Daily Routine
Your child’s day includes singing, stories, art, meals, rest, outdoor time, and hands-on learning that feels natural and engaging. These predictable routines help toddlers feel secure while giving them daily opportunities to practice new skills, build social skills, and explore the world around them through play. Our teachers use each routine as an opportunity to support language development, emotional growth, and a smooth transition between activities.

Separate classrooms for younger and older toddlers allow us to provide individualized care based on age, development, and readiness. From 12 Months to 24 Months: Child Development Support For Every Stage
Our child care approach is rooted in respect for the individual child. Some toddlers are eager to talk, sing, and join in right away. Others need a little more time, reassurance, and guidance. We honor both. Through individualized care, our teachers support children at their own pace while helping them grow in confidence. This is especially important because the toddler years are a period of rapid language development, social awareness, and movement milestones. The CDC notes that between 12 months and 24 months, young children make major gains in how they play, communicate, and move. I am incredibly grateful for this preschool and the wonderful environment they have created. I recently submitted a review and I do have to apologize as it looks like I was off base on the rationale. Big shout out to Ms. Deborah, being great like she always is and providing clarification as to the cameras. Our confidence in Deborah and her team is marrow deep, and I do appreciate their rationale. We have always been the greatest fans of StarChild and the staff! Our kids have loved being here and they have grown a TON. Our youngest is going through the process of potty training and we all know how fun that can be. The teachers are doing a great job helping us to get our youngest through this important phase.
