More than an ordinary child daycare, StarChild Academy in Oviedo offers excellence in infant baby day care, toddler day care, preschool, Pre-K, private elementary school, after-school, and summer camp programs. Proudly serving Oviedo and surrounding communities since July 2006. Open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
*We now offer part-time programs for our toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms.

StarChild Academy has been and continues to be a blessing to our family! Their care and dedication to every child is second to none, and both of our boys have absolutely thrived there! Our oldest is getting ready to graduate from VPK at StarChild, and the years he has spent there going from the infant room all the way to where he is now have been nothing short of phenomenal! StarChild in Oviedo will always have an incredibly special place in our hearts and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

The staff is always well organized and attentive to our children’s needs. Both of our kids are actively learning and have great relationships with their classmates and teachers. The faculty keeps the location clean inside and out.

The front staff and the comfort level my daughter feels when here. She’s happy and likes the staff talking to her rather than at her. She explains she likes the activities here also. Overall, my child has been here many years and thus far seems very comfortable when here.

The best part of starchild is the love from the staff members. The kids are happy when they see their teachers and enjoy their time at starchild. I am very happy to see sign language is being taught to the school age kids. My kids are very excited about practicing sign language and love to show us what they have learned.

StarChild Academy is like home to us and our child. We have been associated with this school and the staff for over 5 years. Currently our daughter does before care and after care for short periods of time. Ms. Melissa, Ms. Ashley and Ms. Ashley are definately vested in the children at StarChild Academy. Our daughter spends only a short time in after care and had expressed she wanted to try a different after care. She had stated she was bored. I approached Ms. Melissa and the team at the front desk with our situation. Within less than 24 hours they had a solution to her boredom. Our daughter grew up here and we are very fortunate to have them in our circle. They are the best!!!

Our daughter has been part of the star child academy since preschool. The team at this location is very professional, kind and caring. Our daughter now attends third grade and we only utilize the before and aftercare. Our daughter went through a phase where, she wanted to go to a different aftercare because she said she was bored even though her time and aftercare is very limited because we pick her up early. We approached the front office team, who we have known for years with the situation, and they had a solution. We are grateful for all they do. Thank you Ms. Melissa, Ms. Ashley and Ms. Dawn.
