Text Box: StarChild Academy franchisees will share a variety of backgrounds, but very few will be professional educators. All franchisees complete a comprehensive training program that includes: operational procedures, customer service, licensing, marketing, staff hiring and training, and quality assurance. Using our proven techniques, you will learn everything you need to know about operating a premier child care center. Your extensive, initial training is guided by a detailed "Operations Manual" that provides you with information on policies and procedures for every facet of your operation. StarChild Academy’s initial training program includes one week of intensive classroom training and an additional week of on-the-job training at one of StarChild Academy’s schools. The classroom portion of the training is conducted at StarChild Academy’s headquarters in Orlando (Apopka), Florida. During your training you will learn the various systems and procedures for operating your school including critical areas such as accounting and financial controls, marketing procedures, quality standards, etc. StarChild Academy’s classroom training modules include: StarChild Academy Philosophy Marketing & Sales Ownership & Organization Professional Services Child Care Software Accounting Software Licensing State Rules & Regulations Curriculum Staffing Finance & Insurance Safety & Security Cleanliness & Maintenance During the construction phase of your StarChild Academy school, you will participate in our training program which is divided between formal classroom and hands-on experiences in an operating StarChild Academy school. Our staff is available to assist you in recruiting, hiring, and training your school director. Your initial school director will attend a separate training course at our corporate offices.
