These critical positions have a direct impact on the success of our schools. Must be customer driven … proud of a job well done, and always striving to exceed expectations. Loves working with children. Has a Director’s Credential and a CDA (or its equivalent). Has previous experience working in a similar environment. Has been successful in working with a large number of children and parents. Able to get along well with others … and accept criticism graciously. Must be a great motivator who can retain an enthusiastic teaching staff. Able to inspect to ensure that the staff is properly implementing and teaching pre-established lesson plans. Knows when and is willing to step in whenever necessary to get the job done. Able to work the hours necessary to do the right job. Must have the organizational skills to ensure compliance with the Department of Children & Families’ rules and regulations and StarChild Academy’s policies and procedures for operating a school and maintaining a properly trained staff.
